Se llevó acabo la rueda de prensa de presentación de #FITUR2026, en la que se han dado a conocer las principales claves de la 46ª edición: más de 10.000 empresas de 161 países, 111 con representación oficial, y 967 expositores titulares, con un destacado crecimiento del 11% en la participación internacional.

Han participado Rosario Sánchez , secretaria de Estado de Turismo; Shaikha Alnuwais, secretaria general de World Tourism Organization (UNWTO); Mariano De Paco Serrano, consejero de Cultura, Turismo y Deporte de la Comunidad de Madrid; Almudena Maíllo del Valle, titular del Área Delegada de Turismo del Ayuntamiento de Madrid; Miguel Aguiñiga Rodríguez, titular de la Unidad de Innovación, Sustentabilidad y Profesionalización Turística de la Secretaría de Turismo de México, País Socio de FITUR 2026; Marco Sansavini, presidente del Comité Organizador de FITUR y de Iberia; José Vicente de los Mozos, presidente del Comité Ejecutivo de IFEMA MADRID; y María Valcarce, directora de la feria.

Entre las grandes novedades, el Pabellón del Conocimiento, nuevo espacio estratégico que consolida a FITUR como foro global de debate sobre el futuro del turismo; la I Cumbre Internacional de Comunicación y Turismo; y la nueva sección FITUR Experience.

Del 21 al 25 de enero, FITUR volverá a consolidarse como el gran punto de encuentro del turismo internacional. ¡Os esperamos!

Today marked the press conference presenting #FITUR2026, where the main highlights of the 46th edition were unveiled: more than 10,000 companies from 161 countries, 111 of them with official representation, and 967 main exhibitors, with a notable 11% growth in international participation.

The event was attended by Rosario Sánchez, Secretary of State for Tourism; Shaikha Alnuwais, Secretary-General of World Tourism Organization (UNWTO); Mariano De Paco Serrano, Regional Minister for Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Comunidad de Madrid; Almudena Maíllo del Valle, Head of the Tourism Department of Ayuntamiento de Madrid; Miguel Aguiñiga Rodríguez, Head of the Unit for Innovation, Sustainability and Tourism Professionalisation at Secretaría de Turismo de México, Partner Country of FITUR 2026; Marco Sansavini, President of the FITUR Organising Committee and of Iberia; José Vicente de los Mozos, President of the Executive Committee of IFEMA MADRID; and María Valcarce, Fair Director.

Among the major new features are the Knowledge Hub, a new strategic space that strengthens FITUR’s position as a global forum for debate on the future of tourism; the 1st International Summit on Communication and Tourism; and the new FITUR Experience section.
